New to Chicago?

You’re not alone.

Moving to a new city is exciting — but may also be lonely, overwhelming, and filled with questions. This half-day retreat is designed to help you feel grounded in your faith, supported in your transition, and connected to others who are walking a similar path.

At this retreat, you’ll:

  • Build meaningful connections with other young adults new to the city

  • Hear faith-integrated talks on navigating change and finding community

  • Have time for reflection during Eucharistic Adoration and the chance to go to Confession

  • Meet Catholic organizations and ministries from across Chicago

  • When: Saturday, September 20 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (optional 8:30 AM Mass beforehand)

  • Where: St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 1429 W Wellington Ave, Chicago, IL

    • Free parking available ·

    • 15-minute walk from Brown/Red Line (Lakeview)

  • Who: Any young adult (ages 21–39) who has moved to Chicago in the past year or wants to find connection in the Catholic community

  • Cost: $15

  • Register by: September 15
