Payment Options & Cancellation Policy

For in-network clients, we will bill your insurance provider directly for your sessions first, but you are responsible for any and all charges not covered by your insurance.

For self pay or out-of-network clients, you will be responsible for the full cost of your session, but we can provide superbills on a monthly basis for redemption of out-of-network benefits, if applicable.

We require all clients to have a credit card on file for copay, coinsurance, deductible, out of pocket, and cancellation fee payments.

 

Insurance Billing

For individual counseling, our therapists are in-network with BlueCross BlueShield PPO plans, United Healthcare PPO plans, and Cigna PPO plans. We are also a preferred provider with Solidarity Healthshare.

If you would like to verify that you are in-network and receive a complimentary estimate of the cost per session with your specific insurance plan, please submit photos of the front and back of your insurance cards via our New Client Interest Form:

 

Direct Pay Rates

Here are our direct pay and out-of-network rates:

  • Initial Consultation
    Intern - $105
    Provisional License (LPC, LSW) - $195
    Full License (LCPC, LCSW) - $205
    Julia Hogan-Werner, LCPC, ACS - $300

    Individual Sessions
    Intern - $90
    Provisional License (LPC, LSW) - $165
    Full License (LCPC, LCSW) - $185
    Julia Hogan-Werner, LCPC, ACS - $250

  • Couples Counseling
    Intern - $100
    Provisional License (LPC, LSW) - $175
    Full License (LCPC, LCSW) - $200

    *Due to the specialized nature of couples counseling, these services are direct pay only.

  • One-Time Consultation
    $50 per 15 minute increments with licensed clinician
    $100 per 15 minute increments with Julia Hogan-Werner, LCPS, ACS

    Report, Letter Writing, & Document Requests - $95 per report/letter

For individuals who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance, a “Good Faith Estimate” of the cost of services will be provided before your first appointment. We also offer a limited number of reduced-fee sessions with our clinical interns. Please contact us to find out more.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so no less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full contracted rate for a 50 minute session using the credit card you have on file. This fee is not typically covered by your insurance company and will be your responsibility. 

Additionally, changing an appointment from in-person to Telehealth or from Telehealth to in-person requires at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment time. If you do not request this change more than 24 hours’ before your scheduled appointment time, and you are not able to attend your session in the format originally agreed upon, you will be charged the full contracted rate for a 50-minute session using the credit card you have on file. This fee is not typically covered by your insurance company and will be your responsibility.
