Karen Pulido
Clinical Intern
As a Clinical Intern, I bring a warm, non-judgmental presence to every session, combining gentle CBT tools with a focus on listening deeply. For me, therapy isn’t about “fixing” someone, it’s about walking alongside you, holding space with empathy, and exploring ways to support healing when you feel ready.
A session with me is centered on you. My approach focuses on your story, and I want you to know you’re never alone in what you’re carrying. A client's courage and trust inspire me and when they take even the smallest steps forward; they remind me why I chose this path. I feel honored to accompany people as they begin their journey toward healing.
I love learning from different cultures, languages, and perspectives, and I find joy in connecting with others. I’m also curious about mindfulness and somatic practices, like gentle breathing and movement, and how these can support emotional well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, savoring a cup of tea or coffee, and taking moments to pause, breathe, and appreciate the blessings in life.
