We offer a thriving clinical practicum and internship experience for master’s level counseling students who are seeking to incorporate faith-informed therapy integrated into empirically-supported treatment methods into their training. We specialize in offering faith-informed therapy from a Catholic worldview to our clients who opt in for faith-informed therapy.

Our internship program is designed to offer clinical interns the opportunity to train under supervisors who specialize in offering faith-informed therapy while also being able to see how a small group practice is run. Interns will receive weekly supervision with either Julia Hogan-Werner, LCPC or Stephanie Sullivan, LCPC along with opportunities to participate in our peer supervision groups and continuing education opportunities when appropriate. Our goal at Vita Optimum is to have our interns feels supported as they begin their journey as clinicians. With that in mind, our interns receive training on conducting intakes, diagnosing, treatment planning, progress note writing, and creating a strong and thriving therapeutic alliance with their clients. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of self-care and balance as a clinician. Interns will have the opportunity to learn from a team of diverse and passionate clinicians on our team.
