Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Master’s Degree in counseling or clinical psychology

  • Provisional license (LPC) or active, unrestricted license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the State of Illinois

  • Experience providing faith-based psychotherapy treatment and working with clients who hold a Catholic worldview

Other Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in a private practice setting 

  • At least three year’s experience in post-provisional licensure 

  • Have at least one niche market for counseling services (children, adolescents, couples, trauma, EMDR, etc.)

Position 1: Part-Time Clinical Associate (Hybrid)

Start Date: Spring 2026

This position is designed for a clinician seeking a structured, consistent schedule that balances in-person care with the flexibility of remote work. It is ideal for those dedicated to making high-quality care accessible to clients who require weekend availability.

  • Clinical Commitment: Minimum of 12 client hours per week.

  • In-Person Component: Saturdays (6 hours) at our O’Hare office, serving a high-demand client population.

  • Telehealth Component: Additional 6 hours of remote sessions, scheduled with flexibility to suit your week.

  • Focus: Perfect for a clinician seeking a stable, supplemental caseload within a supportive practice environment.

Position 2: Clinical Associate (Growth Track to Full-Time)

Start Date: Spring 2026

This role is intended for a clinician looking to build a long-term home at Vita Optimum. It begins with a dedicated part-time schedule and offers a clear, paced pathway to full-time employment, benefits, and practice development.

  • In-Person Component: Tuesdays and Thursdays at our O’Hare office.

  • Telehealth Component: Flexible remote sessions to round out the initial caseload.

  • Career Trajectory: This position is designed to scale. Upon reaching a caseload of 24 clients per week, the role converts to Full-Time status, unlocking our comprehensive benefits package (Health/Dental/Vision/PTO).

  • Focus: Ideal for a clinician ready to transition into private practice with administrative support and a defined roadmap for professional growth.
